Not gonna lie, I’m kind of a fan of squirrels…especially hip ones like this and Crasher Squirrel from Banff Alberta.

Ah, this reminds me of life on tour. This was how I survived on the road…just add water cooking!!! Actually, that’s how I cook now…dear future husband, please start learning how to cook!!! ;) I don’t have the patience for it! But then again, if I were cooking with someone it might be fun….
Adapt.
One of the most beautiful places in Canada. Damn, I’m tired of being surrounded by man-made concrete all of the time. sincerely, Canuck in NYC.

Only because you asked kindly, because I like road trips, because I need help getting through times of convalescence and solitude….but mostly because it’s one hell of an album and THAT brings me much merriment because I know it’s going to be magical for you. ;) Congrats Mr J.C.M!
Sincerely,
Ms. C.A.R. :)

Been thinking alot lately (okay, I always do) but been thinking alot about what I’ve been doing with my life. I just read this and unfortunately, it completely sums up how I have been living lately. So glad, my work was cancelled tomorrow and I can breathe and even go out tomor night! I’m looking forward to taking the next couple of months to gig, write tunes and do what I love. I’ve really had to take a step back and think about why I’m here. I didn’t work my ass off and spend all of my money on a greencard so that I could come to my dream city so that I could do things I hate only so that I could afford to pay for an apt. where I live all alone (and spend too much time in my head). ‘Doesn’t make sense Rivard and you know this.’ Yes, I speak to myself. Sometimes you’ve got to! Anyhow, thanks to the Dalai Lama for helping me set myself straight.
1. Thursday day. May 17th-Our last shoot day at Anderson in the beautiful Time Warner Center. (Thanks you were the best of my many part time jobs!)

4. May 25th and onward! Spend the rest of the summer getting back to doing what I love, singing and making music…and hopefully getting out there to live a little too.
So ready for it.
